BRISTOW - A cafeteria at Bristow High School doubled as an infirmary Thursday night. Dozens of marching Tulsa educators hobbled and rested uncomfortably on the chairs waiting for their blistered feet and torn toenails to be tended to by a doctor who specializes in helping runners.

A convicted sex offender who moved next-door to his victim following his recent release from prison must find a new home after an Oklahoma judge granted a protective order prohibiting him from living within 1,000 feet of the niece he molested when she was a little girl.
Proposed law lets Oklahoma hire tax auditors in other states
There soon could be Oklahoma tax collectors stationed in Texas, Arkansas or any other state where companies doing business here have a headquarters. House Bill 1427 would let the Tax Commission lease office space and hire auditors. The auditors will work directly with companies to make sure they're collecting and remitting the right amount of tax.
